Bourbon Fruit Cake Deluxe

- 1/2 c mixed fruits
- 1/2 c candied cherries
- 1 c pineapple
- 1 1/2 c raisins
- 1 c chopped dates of figs
- Bourbon or sherry
- 1c brown sugar
- 1c white sugar
- 1/2 c butter
- 1/2 c molasses
- 1/2 c water or 1/2 c orange juice
- 1c pecans
- 3c flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp nutmeg
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 4 eggs, beaten

Combine raisins, candied fruits etc with bourbon or sherry. Let stand over night.

Mix batter of sugars, butter, molasses, orange juice, pecans, flour and eggs until light.
