Peanut Butter Balls
A holiday staple. You can’t have a family Christmas party without these little suckers. Just make sure to make a lot cause half of them have a tendency to make it to the party before getting eaten! Who hasn’t been caught sneaking into the peanut butter ball tin?
ingredients
- 1 stick of butter
- 1 cup of Peter Pan Peanut butter
- 1 box less 1 cup of powder sugar
- (Should = 2 1/2 cups)
- 1 package of Chocolate morsels
- 1/4 cake of paraffin wax
- Wax Paper
- Cookie Sheet
- Tooth picks or spoon

In a large bowl, whip the butter till fluffy then add the peanut butter, powder sugar. Beat till smooth. Cover cookie sheet with wax paper. Using your hands take mixture and roll into 3/4 inch balls and place on cookie sheet.

In double broiler melt chocolate morsels and 1/4 cake of wax. Once melted, take toothpicks and one at a time dip balls into chocolate till covered. Place back on cookie sheet to cool. Take extra chocolate with toothpick and fill in hole toothpick left behind…continue till all balls are covered.

If you don't have a double boiler, fill a medium size pot with a couple inches of water. Bring to a boil. Then turn off heat and place a glass or metal bowl on top, making sure the bottom is not touching the water. The just pour in the chocolate!
