Omelets in a Bag

CortneyCortney

ingredients

  • 2 eggs per person
  • omelet topping - mushrooms, bacon (cooked), cheese, red and green peppers, ham, tomato, hash browns, salsa, etc

directions

  • 1

Have each person write their name on a quart size Ziploc freezer bag with permanent marker.

  • 2

Crack 2 large eggs into the bag, shake to scramble.

  • 3

Each person adds prepared ingredients of choice in to their bag and shake. You need about 2 tablespoons of ingredients for each omelet. Mix ingredients well and make sure to get all of the air out of the bag and zip up.

  • 4

Bring a large pot of water to nice rolling boil before placing the bags into the water. Cook for exactly 13 minutes. Open bags and the omelet will roll out easily.

  • 5

    Serve with fruit or muffins.

notes

Don't let any of the bags hang on the outside of the pan as they could melt.
