Grilled asparagus and steak salad with hoisin vinaigrette
ingredients
- 1 Tab lack peppercorns
- 2 teaspoons coriander seeds
- 2 teaspoons fennel seed
- 1 teaspoon salt
- olive oil
- 1 lb. thick cut sirloin or ny strip steak
- 1 lb. young pencil sized asparagus
- sal and freshly ground pepper
- 2 large navel oranges peeled and sliced into rounds
- hoisin vinaigrette (see recipe)
- garnish with finely sliced sweet red onions and cilantro or raw beets
- spring mixed greens
