ingredients

  • Rolled rump roast
  • Salt and pepper
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 6 whole all spice
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder (or 2 fresh cloves)
  • 1 tsp oregano or Italian seasoning
  • 1 large onion
  • 1 large bell pepper
  • 1 pkg Au Jus gravy
  • Hard rolls or hoagie buns

directions

Roast beef with salt, pepper, bay leaves, garlic, all spice and oregano. Cool completely and slice very thin (cooling makes it slice easier). Brown onions and peppers. Add 2 cups water to Au Jus mix and add meat, onions and peppers. Heat and serve on hard rolls or hoagie buns.
