Down South Barbecue
Easy pork roast barbeque. Served on large hamburger buns.
ingredients
- 1 onion, sliced
- 4-5 pound pork roast, or picnic ham
- 5-6 cloves
- 2 cups water

- 16-ounce bottle barbecue sauce
- 1 large onion, chopped
directions
Put half of onions in bottom of crock-pot then add meat and other ingredients with remaining onion on top. Cover and cook overnight or 8 to 12 hours on Low. Remove bone and fat from meat. Put meat back in crock-pot. Add chopped onion and barbecue sauce. Cover and cook additional 3 to 5 hours on High or 8 to 12 hours on Low, stirring two or three times. Serve from crock-pot on large buns.
