Aunt Duffy's Beef Stew
From the kitchen of Duffy Morgret.
ingredients
- 2 tbs flour 2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1 1/2 lbs beef cubes 1"
- 2 tbs olive oil
- 1 can tomato Soup
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup chopped onions
- 4 medium potatoes
- 4 carrots chopped 1 inch
- 2 onions quartered
- 1/2 cup red wine (Burgundy)
- sliced mushrooms (Optional)

1. Combine flour, salt, and pepper. Coat meat in mixture,brown in oil.

2. Add tomato soup, water, and chopped onions

3. Cover and bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees.

4. Add vegetables and wine.

5. Bake another 1 to 1 1/2 hours.

Check for tenderness.

Serve on hot noodles or biscuits.
