Easy Refrigerator Rolls
ingredients
- 2 cups warm water
- 2 pkg active dry yeast
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 tsp salt
- 6 1/2 - 7 cups flour
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup soft shortening

In mixing bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water.

Add sugar, salt and half the flour. Beat thoroughly 2 mins.

Add egg, mix in remaining flour with spoon or hand until dough is easy to handle.

Place greased side up in greased bowl. Cover bowl with plastic bag or aluminum foil. Place in refrigerator. Punchdown occassionally as dough rises.

About 2 hrs before baking cut off amount needed & return rest of dough to refrigerator.

Shape desired rolls, brush tops with butter; cover, return to refrigerator.

Set dough out 2 hrs before baking

Heat oven to 400 degrees. Bake 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
