Snickerdoodles
ingredients
- 1 cup margarine
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 3/4 cups flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
directions
Cream margarine and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla. Beat to blend. Sift dry ingredients and add to margarine mixture. Chill dough overnight or until stiff. Form into small balls, roll in cinnamon sugar. Place on greased cookie sheet far enough apart to allow for spreading. Bake at 375 degrees for about 10 minutes.
