Bread Pudding
ingredients
- 4 Eggs
- 4 C. Milk
- 1/2 t. Salt
- 1 T. Vanilla
- 3/4 C. Sugar
- 6-8 Slices of Bread
- Enough Butter to Spread on Bread
- Brown Sugar
- Nutmeg
- Raisins, if desired

Beat eggs, sugar, and salt slightly to mix.

Add milk and vanilla.

Pour into a 9”x13” pan.

Butter bread, spread with a layer of brown sugar, and sprinkle lightly with nutmeg.

Turn each slice of bread sugar side down and float on top of the custard mixture.

Bake at 350 until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
