Basic Sweet Rolls
ingredients
- 4 1/2 tsp. yeast
- 1/2 cups warm water
- 2 cup scalded milk
- 2 eggs (well beaten)
- 3/4 cups sugar
- 1 tbsp. salt
- 2/3 cups shortening
- 6 cups flour (may need more)
directions

1.) Scald mild. Add shortening, sugar & salt. Set aside.

2.) Dissolve yeast in water.

3.) Measure flour into a big bowl.

4.) Bead eggs well and add to milk mixture. Mix well. Add 1 cup flour from the measured flour in the bowl.

5.) Add yeast to the milk mixture. Pour all into large bowl with flour. Mix.

6.) Let rise in a greased bowl.

7.) Make into rolls.

8.) Bake 20-25 minutes at 350-275°
