A hearty layered dip that can be served with Tortilla ships, or served on its own

ingredients

  • 1/2 lb ground beef (browned and seasoned)
  • 1 can refried beans
  • 3 avacados (pitted and mashed)
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp pepper
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1 pkg taco seasoning
  • 1/3 cup chopped green onion
  • 1/3 cup sliced (or shopped) olives
  • 1/3 cup diced tomatoes
  • 3/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees

    Spread the browned beef on the bottom of a 9x13 glass baking dish. Spread the refried beans over the top of the meat. Mix avacados with lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Spread over bean layer. Sprinkle chopped green onion, olives and diced tomatoes over the avacado mixture. mix together the sour cream, mayonnaise, and taco seasoning, layering it on top. Sprinkle the whole thing with cheddar cheese and bake for 20-30 minutes.
