ingredients

  • 1 20-oz. can chunk pineapple
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1 tbsp. flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 beaten egg
  • 1/2 tsp. white vinegar
  • 2 cups chopped apples
  • 1 cup peanuts
  • 8 oz. Cool Whip

directions

Strain pineapple (save juice), and add marshmallows. Put juice, flour, vinegar, sugar, and egg in saucepan, and cook until it thickens. Stir often. Put both mixtures in separate bowls in refrigerator overnight. Next day, add Cool Whip, apples, and peanuts with pineapple and marshmallow mixture and the thickened mixture.
