Raspberry Walnut Brownies
ingredients
- 3 squares of unsweetened chocolate
- 1/2 cup Crisco, solid
- 3 eggs
- 1 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup flour
- 1 1/2 cups chopped walnuts
- 1/3 cup raspberry jam
- 1 square unsweetened chocolate
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons light corn syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup confectioner’s sugar
- 1 tablespoon milk

Melt chocolate and Crisco. Cool slightly.

In bowl beat eggs, sugar, vanilla, and salt. Stir in chocolate mix. Add flour. Fold in walnuts.

Turn into greased 8" square pan. Bake 325 degrees for 40 minutes.

Spoon jam over hot brownies. Spread carefully. Cool.
Glaze

Melt chocolate. Blend in butter and syrup. Stir in remaining ingredients and mix.

Spread on cooled brownies.
