Bread and Sausage Stuffing
Ridiculously delicious!
ingredients
- 1 lb. sausage
- 3/4 C minced onion
- 1 1/2 C chopped celery with leaves
- 3/4 C butter
- 9 C soft bread cubes
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 1/2 tsp crushed sage leaves
- 1 tsp thyme leaves
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1 can chicken broth
directions
Preheat oven to 325°F. In large skillet, cook sausage with onion, celery and butter until sausage is cooked through and onion is tender. Stir in about 1/3 of bread cubes. Turn into deep bowl and add the rest of the bread cubes and remaining ingredients. Toss together. Cook in 13x9” dish covered with foil for one hour.
