Oven Fried Fish Fillets
This is a simple and delicious treatment for fresh fish fillets. They are covered with crisp herb-flavored crumbs and drizzled with butter.
ingredients
- 1 1/2 Pounds fresh fish fillets, such as salmon, trout, bass,catfish, or whitefish
- 1/2 Cup milk
- 1/2 Cup all-purpose flour
- 1 Tsp each salt, dried basil and chervil leaves
- 1 Egg, beaten
- 1/2 Cup fine dry bread crumbs
- 1/3 Cup melted butter or margarine
- Parsley and lemon wedges for garnish
