Pepperoni Bread
ingredients
- 1 loaf frozen bread dough, thawed
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup pizza sauce
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 tablespoons parsley
- 4 oz swiss cheese, shredded
- 4 oz mozzerela cheese, shredded
- 3 oz pepperoni, sliced
- optional:
- 4 oz mushrooms, chopped
directions
Thaw bread dough to room temperature, do not let rise. Roll into a rectangle (12x18). Beat one egg. Add Parmesan, pepper, oregano, garlic & parsley. Spread onto bread. Spread pizza sauce over top. Layer cheese, pepperoni, (and mushrooms). Roll into 18 inch roll, crimping edges. Fold in half and twist. Beat 2nd egg and brush on bread. Sprinkle with oregano. Bake at 375 degrees for 30-40 minutes on greased cookie sheet.
