Pumpkin Dessert
ingredients
- 2 cans pumpkin
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 (12 oz) can evaporated milk
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. ginger
- 1/4 tsp. cloves
- 3 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1 c. butter, melted
- 1 1/2 c. chopped pecans
- 1 (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 (12 oz) Cool Whip, thawed
- 1 tsp. vanilla
directions
Mix the first 8 ingredients together and pour into a greased 9x13 pan that has been lined with wax paper. Sprinkle dry cake mix over pumpkin mix, drizzle melted butter over cake mix and top with chopped pecans. Bake 350° for 1 hour. Cool and refrigerate for several hours. Turn out onto serving tray. Beat cream cheese with powdered sugar, add cool whip and vanilla. Spread over dessert.
