Sweet and Crunchy Nuts
Made these for Jacob when he was in junior high
ingredients
- 2 egg whites
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 lb. walnut pieces

Heat oven to 275 degrees. Have a 15 x 10 inch cookie sheet ready.

Beat eggs whites with mixer till soft peaks form. Gradually add sugar beating till whites are stiff and glossy. Stir in butter, add nuts and toss to coat well. Spread on sheet. Bake 1 hour or until meringue is dry. stirring every 15 minutes to separate nuts. Cool completely in pan
