24-Hour Salad
ingredients
- 1 bunch seedless grapes
- 1 large can pineapple chunks
- 2 small cans mandarin oranges
- 2 peeled, diced apples
- 1 can purple cherries (optional)
- 1 small bag mini marshmallows
- 1 pint whipping cream
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 tsp. lemon juice
- 1/2 c. chopped walnuts
directions
Drain all canned fruit, put in large bowl. Whip cream. Add marshmallows to fruit. Heat yolk and lemon juice on the stove, stir until thickened and then stir into cream. Pour over fruit. Mix and refrigerate 24 hours.
