Pork Chops Veracruz
ingredients
- 2 Tbsp Vegetable Oil
- 6 Pork Chops (1/2 Inch Thick)
- 1 Medium Onion, Sliced
- 1 Clove Garlic, Minced
- 1/2 Cup Sliced Celery
- 1 19Oz Can Del Monte Mexican Spice Stewed Tomatoes
- 4 Medium Potatoes, Peeled and Quartered
- 1 Tbsp Lime Juice
- 1 Tbsp Chopped Pickled Green Chilies
- 1 Bay Leaf
- 1/2 Tsp Salt
- 1/2 Tsp Sugar
- 1/8 Tsp Cinnamon
- 1/8 Tsp Ground Cloves

Heat oil in large frying pan over high heat and brown pork chops on both sides. Remove from pan.

Reduce heat to medium and sauté onion, garlic and celery in pan droppings for 3 minutes.

Add remaining ingredients to pan, bring to boil.

Return pork chops to pan; cover and simmer about 30 minutes or until tender. Uncover and summer about 10 minutes or until pan juices are slightly thickened.

Remove bay leaf.
