White Chocolate Chip Chocolate Cookies

This recipe is from the same source as Phoebe’s French grandmothers recipe on Friends - Nestle Tollhouse. They are however very good and in constant demand from Scott and Corbin.
ingredients
- 2 1/4 c all purpose flour
- 2/3 cup baking cocoa
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 salt
- 1 cup (2 sticks) softened butter (or margarine)
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2/3 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 1 12 oz package white chocolate chips

Preheat oven 350

Combine flour, baking soda, cocoa and salt in small bowl

Cream butter, sugar and vanilla in large bowl

Add eggs one at a time mixing well after each

Gradually add in flour

Stir in chips

* I am lazy about cleaning and prefer to line my cookie sheet with a Silpat. Nothing sticks to it and you can just wipe it off!

* Alternatives include other kinds of chips, peanut butter and peanut butter swirl are the best.
