Chicken-Taco Pie
ingredients
- 3 lb. boneless chicken breast
- 1 can enchilada sauce
- 1 can cream of celery or mushroom soup
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1/2 tsp garlic salt
- 11 oz. pkg. tortilla chips
- 1 small can mild green chili peppers
- Shredded Cheese
directions
Boil chick until tender; reserve 1 cup of the broth. Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces. Combine chicken, enchilada sauce, celery soup, onion, garlic salt and a dash of pepper. Line greased baking dish with half of the corn ships. Add chicken mixture, sprinkle with cheese. Cover with remaining chips and pour reserved chicken broth over mixture. Put more cheese on top if desired. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Maybe frozen and baked later.
