Pinto Picante Pasta
ingredients
- 12 oz macaroni
- 1 cup salsa (Pace!)
- 2 cups tomato sauce
- 16 oz can pinto beans (or 2 cups)
- 1 cup corn
- 1 jalapeno, chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
directions
Add pasta to boiling water and cook for 10-15 minutes, according to directions. In a separate pot, combine salsa, tomato sauce, beans, corn, jalapeno, and spices. Simmer mixture on medium heat for 10-15 minutes. When pasta is done, drain and mix with prepared sauce. Serve topped with grated cheese.
