California Beef Rice Skilet
ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- Add:
- 2 1/2 c. water
- 1 c. rice
- 3 beef bouillon cubes, crushed
- 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
- 1 medium green pepper
- 1 medium tomato
- 1 c. shredded Monterrey Jack Cheese
directions
Bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover and simmer til liquid is absorbed for 25 minutes. Stir in 1 medium green pepper, chopped, 1 medium tomato, chopped. Sprinkle 1 c. shredded Monterrey jack cheese over top. Cover. Remove form heat. Let stand 2-3 minutes to melt cheese.
