Scalloped Broccoli
ingredients
- 2 pounds broccoli, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1/2 cup grated Gruyere cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup Bechamel Sauce, premixed with 1/2 t ground nutmeg
- 1/2 cup buttered breadcrumbs
- Paprika

Preheat oven to 350°. Butter a 2 quart baking dish.

Blanch broccoli for 2-3 minutes, until just bright green. Drain well and spread in buttered baking dish.

Layer in order: Sprinkle broccoli with grated Gruyere. Spoon over with Bechamel Sauce. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan. And finally, sprinkle with buttered breadcrumbs.

Bake until bubbly and browned on top, about 30 minutes.

Serve sprinkled with paprika.
