Chocolate Truffles
These are super easy to make, and they allow you to be as creative as you want. you could do Grand Marnier with dark choclate rolled in orange zest curls. Dark chocolate with a cherry liqueur. Milk chocolate and amaretto rolled in toasted hazelnuts. Milk chocolate and rum. Peppermint schnappes with crushed candy canes.
ingredients
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 2 cups chocolate
- cocoa powder
- shredded coconut
- powdered sugar
- extracts and flavorings
- liqueurs
directions
Bring 2 cups cream to a boil; add flavoring. Add chocolate to cream and whisk until melted. Chill 4 hours. Roll into balls and coat with whatever you want.
