PATATE AL FORNO
Roast Potatoes (Serves 6)
ingredients
- 500 gr./1.1 lb. potatoes (yellow ones are best)
- extra virgin olive oil
- sage, rosemary, oregano, thyme
- 2 garlic cloves
- salt as needed

Peel the potatoes and cut in large but equal sized pieces.

Put in water and cook for 5 minutes from the moment when they start to boil.

Prepare a baking pan with the herbs, the garlic and a lot of olive oil.

Put the pan on the fire to warm the oil.

Drain the potatoes and pour them on the pan.

Cook on the fire for a few minutes, then put in the oven at 200 C/400 F.

Bake for about 40 minutes, until they become brown.
