Bittman's Shrimp
A recipe we’re co-opting from our favorite cookbook, How to Cook Everything, by Mark Bittman.
ingredients
- 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 3 big cloves of garlic, cut into slivers
- 2 lbs shrimp, peeled, rinsed and dried.
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 1/2 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste.

Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.

Add the garlic and heat until it turns golden (watch to make sure it doesn’t burn).

Add the shrimp, cumin and paprika. Stir to blend and cook until the shrimp are pink all over.

Serve with brown rice and a veggie.
