Italian Roast
ingredients
- 5 lb rump roast
- 2 c water with spices, pour over roast
- 2 T basil
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 T onion powder
- 2 whole garlic beads
- 1 whole onion, cut in 3 pieces
- 2 or 3 bay leaves
- Sprinkle of paprika
- 1 1/2 T salt
- 1 T instant boulion
directions

Place all ingredients in baking dish. Sprinkle parsley over top. Cover roast nearly to top with water. Cover and bake 3 hours at 325. Cool roast and slice.

To serve, heat in oven, covered, with small amount of juice.
