Italian Roast

ingredients

  • 5 lb rump roast
  • 2 c water with spices, pour over roast
  • 2 T basil
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 T onion powder
  • 2 whole garlic beads
  • 1 whole onion, cut in 3 pieces
  • 2 or 3 bay leaves
  • Sprinkle of paprika
  • 1 1/2 T salt
  • 1 T instant boulion

directions

    Place all ingredients in baking dish. Sprinkle parsley over top. Cover roast nearly to top with water. Cover and bake 3 hours at 325. Cool roast and slice.

    To serve, heat in oven, covered, with small amount of juice.
