Festive Fruit Salad

ingredients

  • 1 can (20 oz) pineapple chunks
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 2 cans (11 oz each) mandarin oranges, drained
  • 1 can (20 oz) pears, chopped
  • 3 kiwi, peeled and sliced
  • 2 large apples, chopped
  • 1 cup pecan halves

directions

Drain pineapple, reserving juice. Pour juice into small saucepan, add sugar and flour. Bring to a boil, stir in egg. Cook until thickened, remove from heat, cool. Refrigerate. In a large bowl, combine pineapple, pear, oranges, kiwi, apple, pecans. Pour dressing over and blend well.
