English Muffin Snacks

This is from Aunt Marion from many years ago. It is great because you prepare & freeze to be used whenever you want a few appetizers or the whole recipe.

ingredients

  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 jar Kraft Old English Cheese
  • 2 tsp mayonnaise
  • 1/2 tsp garlic
  • 1/2 tsp seasoned salt
  • 1 can (7 or 8 oz) minced clams
  • (substitute shrimp or crabmeat)
  • 6 english muffins

    Let margarine and cheese get room temperature. Mix all ingredients and spread on split english muffins. Stack english muffins in stacks of six & wrap in alum.foil & place in freezer for at least 2 hours.

    When ready to use remove from freezer and let stand for 10 minutes. Cut in quarters and place on cookie sheet. Bake in pre-heated 400 degree oven for 7-10 minutes.
