- 2 cups heavy cream
- 6 Tbsp butter
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- sprinkle of nutmeg
- 1 pound fettuccine noodles
Cook fettuccine in boiled water according to package directions. Drain thoroughly.
Put 1 1/3 cups cream and butter in large pan. Simmer on medium heat long enough to melt butter. Turn off heat.
Transfer cooked fettuccine into pan with warm butter and cream. Toss fettuccine to coat with sauce and turn heat on to low. Add the rest of the cream and all of the grated cheese, salt,
pepper and nutmeg.
