Grandma Padberg's Jam-Filled Cookies
Aunt Fran and Grandma Padberg always made these delicious cookies for the holidays. When Grandma passed away I called Aunt Fran for the recipe. It needs to stay in the family.
- 8 ounces of cream cheese
- 1/2 pound of butter
- 1 to 2 cups of flour
- 4 Tablespoons of apricot preserves
- 1/3 cup of chopped walnuts
I've also filled the cookies with plum jam. You could use any jam you prefer. The jam needs to be thick and not contain seeds.
