Vanille Kipferl

Another Austrian favorite.
ingredients
- 15 dkg butter
- 7 dkg sugar
- 21 dkg flour
- 7 1/2 dkg ground almonds
- 1 pkg vanilla sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/8 tsp salt
directions
Knead dough until smooth. Cool in refrigerator. Form crescents from 1/4 dough at a time. Bake at 350 degrees for 12 minutes. Immediately roll warm cookies in mixture of powdered sugar and vanilla sugar.
