Breakfast Casserole
A wonderful brunch dish because you can assemble the night before and bake in the morning.
ingredients
- 6 slices of white or wheat bread (cubed)
- 1 Cup Milk
- 6 Beaten Eggs
- 3 Cups of Cheddar Cheese
- 1 1/2 Cups Ham (cubed)
- 1 Green Pepper (cubed)
- Salt and Pepper to Taste

Place bread cubes in a greased 3 quart rectangular baking dish.

In a pan cook ham and green pepper until ham is crisp and green pepper is softened. Add to baking dish.

In a large bowl whisk together eggs, milk, salt and pepper. Carefully pour over ingredients in baking dish. Sprinkle cheese on top. Let sit in refrigerator over night.

Bake, uncovered, in a 325 degree oven about 40 minutes or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
