Mom's Seafood Chowder
Mom has made this chowder for years. The longer it sits, the better it gets.
ingredients
- Onions - diced
- Potatoes - chopped into bite-sized pieces
- Pickapepper Sauce - a few shakes
- Old Bay seasoning - a few more shakes
- Salt & pepper
- Butter
- Sherry - Optional
- Milk
- Half & half
- Seafood combinations depend on what you like:
- Shrimp
- Clams
- Oysters
- Fish (Haddock or Halibut)
- Lobster
- Crab meat
- Scallops

Melt the butter and then saute the onions. Add the potatoes, milk, cream, pickapepper, old bay and salt and pepper.

DO NOT BOIL

Add the seafood. Simmer but do not boil!!
