This YUMMY dessert is easy to make and lasts forever! Warm it up with some vanilla ice cream and you are in heaven!

ingredients

  • 2 Cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 3/4 cup (1 1/2 sticks) butter or margarine, softened
  • 2/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 2.3 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 3 medium very ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 cups (1 12oz package) Toll House Semi Sweet Chocolate Chips
  • Powdered Sugar (Optional)

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 15x20 inch jelly roll pan.

    Combine flour, baking powder, and salt in a medium bowl.

  • 3

    Beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract in large bowl until creamy.

    Beat in bananas and egg. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in morsels.

    Spread into prepared jelly roll pan.

  • 6

    Bake for 20-30 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.

  • 7

    Cool on wire rack in pan. Sprinkle with powdered sugar. Cut into bars.
