Potato Mushroom Casserole
ingredients
- 5 large potatoes, sliced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 soup can of water
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
directions
Place butter in large skillet. Add onion and saute until tender but not brown. Add mushroom soup and water. Stir with a wire whisk over med. heat until smooth. Add potatoes and stir to cover. Add salt and pepper. Pour mixture into a casserole dish with lid. Place lid on potatoes and place in a 350 degree oven. Bake for 30 minutes. Cover with cheese and bake another 15 to 20 minutes.
