Orecchiette with Spicy Sausage and Broccoli Rabe
Complements of Giada De Laurentis, this is a wonderfully simple and delicious “sauceless” pasta dish!
- 2 bunches broccoli rabe, stems trimmed
- 1 pound orecchiette pasta
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 pound spicy Italian-style sausage, casings removed
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- Pinch dried crushed red pepper flakes
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan
I have also made this with Broccolini if i cannot find Broccoli Rabe, and have also made this with other small pastas like bow-ties.
