Mud Pie Sandwich

ingredients

  • 24 Ice Cream Sandwiches
  • 1 Cup fudge ice cream topping
  • 1 envelope Dreamwhip (not prepared)
  • 4 oz instant chocolate pudding powder
  • 1 1/2 Cups cold milk
  • 1/2 Cup peanut butter
  • 1/3 Cup semisweet chocolate chips,melted
  • 1/3 Cup chopped peanuts

    Lne 9X13 inch pan with foil. Arrange 12 icecream sandwiches in single layer in bottom of the pan. Cover with 1/2 of fudge topping. Place in freezer.

    Beat dreamwhip, pudding and milk in medium bowl on high speed for about 5 minutes until thick and creamy.

    Beat in peanut butter. Spread 1/2 of peanut butter mixture on fudge topping layer. Arrange remaining 12 icecream sandwiches in single layer. Cover with remaining fudge topping and peanut butter filling.

    Drizzle melted chocolate chips onto filling. Sprinkle with peanuts. Freeze for several hours or overnight. To store in freezer, remove from pan in foil liner. Wrap well in plastic wrap.
