ingredients

  • • 4 or more cups chicken or turkey (cooked)
  • • 7 - 12 ounce box spaghetti noodles (broken in half, cooked, and drained)
  • • 1/2 cup butter
  • • 1/2 cup flour
  • • 1 teaspoon salt
  • • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • • 2 cups chicken broth
  • • 2 cups whipping cream (or half and half)
  • • 1/4 to 1/2 cup white cooking wine
  • • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
  • • 1 can mushrooms, drained (optional)

    • Carefully melt butter (do not burn)

  • 2

    • Blend in flour and seasonings, stirring constantly until smooth and bubbly

    • Remove from heat, stir in broth and cream

  • 4

    • Bring to a gentle boil, stirring constantly (do not burn)

    • Remove from heat, add wine and stir

  • 6

    • Pour most of your sauce into a baking dish

  • 7

    • Stir in meat and spaghetti to desired consistency (you’ll want it a bit soupy)

    • Add more sauce if needed (it is easier to add sauce then to take out noodles)

    • Hint: The broken spaghetti is easier to stir

  • 10

    • Sprinkle with parmesan cheese

  • 11

    • Cover with foil and bake at 350° for 30 minutes, or until bubbly in center
