Cream of Broccoli Soup
My mom found this in a church cookbook, and we have been making it ever since . . .
ingredients
- 1 Medium Onion, Chopped
- 2 Tbs Margarine or Butter
- 3 Cups Water
- 5 Chicken Bouillon Cubes
- 10 Oz Package Frozen Broccoli, Cooked and Chopped
- 5 Oz Medium Egg Noodles, Uncooked
- 3 Cups Milk
- 11 Oz Velveeta or American Cheese
- Salt and Pepper to taste
directions
Sauté onion in margarine or butter in a medium stockpot. Add water and bouillon, and boil for 3 minutes. Add broccoli and noodles and boil for 5 minutes or until noodles are tender. Add milk, cheese, salt and pepper. Heat until cheese melts and is the consistency you desire.
