Fantastic Roasted Red Pepper Hummus
If you are thinking that you could not for some reason like hummus... you need to try this Roasted Red Pepper Hummus! This is a very healthy snack and it is so much better for your cholesterol than the potato chip dips! I think once you try this hummus, you will be back for more!
ingredients
- 1 (16 oz.) can chickpeas, drained
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 tablespoon Tahini
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon toasted cumin seeds
- 1/2 cup roasted red peppers, drained
- Kosher salt to taste
directions
In a food processor, combine all ingredients and process until you have a nice consistency for dipping your pita bread wedges, veggie sticks or anything else you would like to dip into this wonderful stuff.
notes
You can add any flavorings to your hummus really... add chopped black olives, green olives, veggies, sour cream... the sky is the limit!
