24 Hour Omelette
ingredients
- 1 loaf challah bread
- 8 eggs
- 3/4 pound, grated cheddar cheese
- 8 ounces of light cream cheese
- 2 cups milk
- 1 stick butter or margarine
- 1/2 tsp dry mustard
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 TBLS chives
- dash cayenne pepper

Tear bread in chunks.
- 2
Grease ~13x9 casserole dish. Melt butter and pour over bread chunks. Sprinkle cheese. Beat together the rest of the ingredients. Pour over bread and cheese. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Bake, covered, at 325’ for one hour or until set. Uncover the last 10 minutes of baking time.
notes
May use any kind of sweet bread such as the Hawaiian kind.
