Applesauce Drop Cookies

ingredients
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 3/4 c flour shifted
- 1 t. soda
- 1/4 t. baking powder
- 1/2 t. salt
- 1 t. cinnamon
- 1/2 t. cloves
- 1/2 t. nutmeg
- 1/2 c. seedless raisins
- 1 c. quick-cooking rolled oats
- 1 c. applesauce
directions
Cream shortening and sugar; stir in egg. Sift dry ingredients; mix in raisins and oats. Add to creamed mixture in 3 portions alternately with applesauce in 2 portions. Beat well. Drop dough from teaspoon onto greased baking sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 15 minutes
