Frozen Banana Punch
*A refreshing, versatile drink that can be prepared and frozen weeks before serving. Great for a brunch, tea, wedding reception, or shower.
ingredients
- Vodka (optional)
- 2 12 oz. cans frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed
- 1 12oz. can frozen lemonade concentrate, thawed
- 1 46 oz. can pineapple juice
- 6 ripe bananas
- 6 cups water
- 2 to 4 cups sugar
- 10 liters ginger ale or lemon-lime soda, chilled

-In a VERY LARGE container, combine juices.

-Using a blender, puree bananas 2 at a time with water and sugar.

-Add mixture to juices after thoroughly blending.

-Freeze in quart containers or plastic bags, lay flat in freezer.

-When ready to serve, thaw until punch base is slushy.

-Add 2 liters ginger ale or lemon-lime soda to each quart of punch base.
