ingredients
- 1/2 box Knox Gelatin unflavored 1/2 cup sweet milk
- 3 egg yolks
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 pint heavy whipping cream
- 1 tsp vanilla flavoring
directions

Whip the cream and vanilla flavoring until thick and set aside for a minute. Beat egg yolks. Take gelatin mix and milk and completely dissolve in a double boiler over medium heat watching closely. After completely dissolved, mix egg yolks and sugar into the gelatin mixture. Slowly stir in the whipping cream and flavoring mixture.

Chill for at least 1-2 hours and serve.

We hardly eat any of this each Thanksgiving but I love making it because I loved having it when I was little and it reminds me of Granny.
