Red and Wet Chicken

ingredients

  • 1 Chicken, cut into eighths
  • 1/4 Cup olive oil
  • 1 Large onion, chopped
  • 8 Ounce can tomato sauce
  • 28 Ounce can whole tomatoes
  • 1/2 Cup dry white wine
  • 1 Tsp.salt
  • 1/4 Tsp. freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/2 Tsp.crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 Bay leaf
  • 1/4 Tsp. dried thyme
  • 1/4 Tsp. dried marjoram
  • 1 Tsp. dried oregano
  • 2+ Garlic cloves, minced

    1. Sauté chicken in oil until brown on all sides.

    2. If excess oil, drain some off.

  • 3

    3. Add all other ingredients and cover.

  • 4

    4. Simmer for approximately 1 hour.

  • 5

    5. Serve over hot spaghetti (al dente).
