Ingredients

  • 3 Tbls. Butter or Margarine
  • 2 Tbls. flour
  • 3 cups of milk
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 6 medium potatoes pared and sliced thin
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheese
  • 2 tbls. chopped onions
  • 1 ring of kielbasa

    Combine first 5 ingredients in a medium sauce pan. Cook on medium heat until ingredients thicken. Add shredded cheese allowing it to melt.

    Pour 1/2 of the potatoes and 1/2 of the kielbasa in greased 2 quart casserole; cover with 1/2 of the onion and 1/2 of the sauce. Repeat layers.

    Cover and bake at 350 degrees for about 1 hour. Uncover and continue baking till top is browned.
